I currently have several projects at various stages of completion. I mention these here to give you an idea of the types of work I can handle and produce.

These projects are being done through my association with Tallgrass Software Pty. Ltd. I'm not able to provide precise details, having signed the normal non disclosure agreements.

Software projects usually span several months - some much longer - and the commissioning clients don't want to send messages to their competitors or the public about what they're up to.

As a result the information I can provide is very general. Here are the major projects that are in development or testing and should serve to give you an idea of the scope of the work I do:

  • A redesign and rebirth of a national job and recruitment site and SQL back end. This involves both the front end - seen by the public - and the back end that is used to manage applicants and advertisers, and is the inteface used by recruiters.
  • The redesign of an ERP package that gives hundreds of staff users and thousands of customer users access to AccPac Enterprise MS SQL Accounting package including inventory levels, remote ordering, back order status, serial number tracking, delivery track and trace and a lot more.
  • Data modelling and design of a very large SQL database clustered installation and the back end management of data to be used to record sales and transactions for a large Internet site that expects to accommodate 10,000+ visitors per hour, for a very large Australian company.
  • Modelling and design of a hosted (software as a rented service) software suite to be used by professional and commercial photographers. The client is an international agency.
  • Data modelling and design of a J2EE multi role based recruitment and employment management system for an international publishing group.

Tony McCormick is an Australian Professional Photographer specialising in very close up super sharp imaging, product shots, wildlife and flora and Australian scenery. I take on assignments anywhere. My equipment includes both portable studio Elinchrom lighting as well as 35mm film Nikons, Nikon D2X digital, 6x6 Rolleiflex, 6x7 Mamiya, 4x5 Cambo View and a full complement of Zeiss, Rodenstock, Mamiya and Nikkor close up equipment and lighting. I specialise in E6 transparencies and very high definition digital in finished or RAW format and I can provide exhibition and fine art prints up to large poster size. My 30 x 20 fine art exhibition quality prints are displayed in galleries, office reception areas and homes in New York, London, Singapore, Geneva, Copenhagen, Gothenburg, Munich, Ottawa, Tokyo and Los Angeles, to name just a few.

His speed was great and his high marks were spectaculat, but his ball handling skills were not great. As well as his AFL exploits, Tony McCormick represented Australia as an athlete in high jumping.
